Having visited Humboldt County Ca since 1981, I've now lived here since 2010. The north coast of California is as varied as it gets in terms of outdoor terrain, weather, classic architecture and animal life. It also harbors some interesting humans including artists who make their home here and express their vision here. We live in an extraordinary environment which begs us to advance the visual expression that it already provides for free; one that asks us to be part of the collective interpretation. I spend my time mostly on outdoor photography where I search for personality in objects, buildings, nature or scenes and enjoy especially those that present an unusual viewpoint. The contrast between the windy surroundings and the still alert rabbit is just dramatic and telling. Great shot Jon. L/F
